A Message from Ms. Patyak

My name is Lauren Patyak and I teach K-5 music at Blake Elementary. I graduated from the College of Wooster with a degree in music education and am currently pursuing a masters in special education from Baldwin-Wallace University. I am a lifelong Medina resident and love teaching in the community I grew up in! In music class, we work as a group to develop music skills in rhythm, melody, harmony, performance, music appreciation and history, and more! Some of the students' favorite parts of music are the first grade/kindergarten holiday performance, 2nd/3rd grade Fine Arts Fest performance, 4th grade musical, recorders, and 5th grade guitars.
