A Message From the Principal...
Dear Fenn Families,
Welcome back to all of our Fenn students and families. I am so excited to see your bright, smiling faces filling our hallways once again. A new school year is like turning a new page, full of promise, new adventures, and endless opportunities to learn and grow. On behalf of the entire Fenn family, I extend a heartfelt welcome to all of you, especially our newest students and families. We are so glad you are here and are now a part of our incredible Fenn Family.
This year, we will continue our journey of learning and discovery, and I want to share a little bit about how we, as a school, will be guided by our "Portrait of a Bee" competencies. Just like a beehive, our school is a bustling community where every single person plays an essential role. The Portrait of a Bee is our blueprint for success, helping us to nurture students who are not only academically strong but also well-rounded individuals ready for the future.
When we are a collaborator and communicator, we listen to each other with open hearts and minds, share our ideas respectfully, and work together as a team to solve problems. Whether it's in a group project or in the playground, we will practice working together and communicating our thoughts clearly.
As innovative problem-solvers, and resilient lifelong learners, we learn to constantly change. Our goal is to equip you with the skills to think creatively and adapt to new challenges. This year, we'll encourage you to ask "what if" and "why not?", to try new things, and to not be afraid of making mistakes. Because often, our greatest discoveries come from our biggest challenges, especially when learning can be hard sometimes.
We will also strive to be respectful citizens and responsible decision makers. This is about being kind, understanding, and respectful to everyone around you. It's about recognizing that everyone has a unique story and that by celebrating our differences, we make our school and community a better place. Let's make a promise to be caring friends and helpful neighbors.
As we begin this new school year, please know that our love for our students and families is at the very heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating a safe, loving, and inspiring environment where you can all thrive. My greatest hope is that this is the best school year ever for each one of you.
